VENUS - The Official Shocking Blue Experience is a Dutch band that passionately and skillfully brings to life the musical legacy of the legendary group Shocking Blue. Extra special is the fact that drummer Mark Eshuis played for several years in Mariska's Shocking Jazz Quintet. Later, when Mark and keyboardist Co were part of the Margriet Eshuijs Band, they performed together with Mariska on several occasions.
All of them are highly experienced musicians who succeed in conveying not only the music, but also the atmosphere and style of the original Shocking Blue in an authentic way. Their performances are a true musical time travel, taking both long-time fans and a new generation of listeners into the magic of this music.
